This is a very nice spread, consisting of a professionally built dredge, a floating booster, and a sand plant. The centerpiece is a 10-inch dredge custom-built by the owner for his Georgia sand & gravel operation. The dredge is equipped with a GIW 12×10 LSA32 pump, powered by a 675-hp Cummins model KTTA 19C diesel engine and Cotta transmission. Pullmaster winches control all hauling and hoisting functions. Assembled hull dimensions: 45’ x 19’ x 4’. This dredge is also provided with a gooseneck and bogeys, allowing it to be transported without a trailer. The floating booster is solidly constructed of 3/8” steel, two pieces measuring 36’ x 20’ x 4’ when assembled. The GIW 12×10 LSA32 pump is belt-driven by a 450-hp Cummins model KT 19C. The sand plant consists of a 40’ x 10’ EIW classifying tank, and a 4’ x 10’ rotary screen. Finally, this package includes 6500’ of 10” SDR17 discharge pipe, a 1500-gal fuel barge with Honda fuel pump and hoses, an aluminum work boat, a 45’ van trailer, and new spare pump parts.
